WHO IS CARBONE BLACK?
To pursue his musical training of young ages Oskay, whom started his adventure in 2010s performing in U.S. within private events and parties, made up his mind to plan his career accordingly. Having curated ''CARBONE'' in 2015 to convert his venture into a profession when he applied one of the best music schools ever known; Pointblank in London, U.K.
WHAT ELSE?
During his London experience, he performed local and national radio shows as well as club shows, and upon his return to Istanbul, he has performed in many of Turkey's best venues. His unique style, combining old school techno beats with hypnotic sounds, impressed audiences in his hometown and he subsequently founded his own event and music imprint, UPD8. In 2018, Cärbone joined FG 93.8, Turkey's only electronic music and dance channel.
In 2021, artist created "CARBONE BLACK" after revising his project with his live performance during the pandemic. He also began working on digital art projects in which he had previously shown interest and immortalized his creations as NFT; the collections he produced proved to be highly successful. Renowned collectors like Pak and Cryptinish have purchased works by nationally exhibited artist CARBONE BLACK.
As one of the new and indispensable presenters of techno music in Turkey, performing at major festivals of the global and local scene, the artist attracted attention with his A/V show “MTMRPHSS” and took the stage with some of the most acclaimed artists of the global scene such as Richie Hawtin, Bicep, Sam Paganini, Extrawelt, Boris Brejcha, Kobosil, Sebasian Mullaert, Woo York and Stephan Bodzin.
